Up and down. Up and down......Oy vey.
Gan was on a good sleep schedule, and this week he's decided to go against everything we've been training him to do. :P
We didn't even have to sleep train him much. The cry out method wasn't even used, becuz he was going right to bed. I thought it was odd he was going down so easily. Now he's decided to put up a fight at bedtime. What's hard is his bedroom is what we walk thru to get to our bedroom. So it's pretty hard to block out his crying, especially since Todd has to get up at 4:15am. So this week has been a challenge. We need to get him moved into the other room as soon as it warms up!
I miss his going to bed at 8pm, waking up between 5-6 for a snack, and then goin' right back to bed for a couple more hours. Oh Gan WHY go against this now?!?!?! *sighs* ;)
Last night he fell asleep at 8:30pm. Got up around 1am cuz he kicked off his covers and was chilly. Went back to sleep maybe around 1:40ish. Got up again around 4:15am cuz Todd was stomping thru his room. Went back to sleep around 4:45am. Got up AGAIN at 5:45am for a snack. Went back to bed around 6:15 and slept til 8am. It was a rocky night.
Plus! He's not easily goin' down for his naps anymore! He'll take mini naps thru the day. Only sleeping around an hour at a time. Stinker. I was readin' a book Jac gave me and it said that was pretty normal, so I'm not too worried about that.
We're havin' company soon, so we'll have 2 crying babies.....cuz I'm afraid mine will wake up the other. :P
On a better note Gan likes Green Beans as well as Carrots. Mmmmm...mushy veggie slop.
Gan is also today deciding that when mommy leaves the room it is horrid! "nooooo, pick me up! pick me up!" It's just one of those days.....
Gan likes his exersaucer!

Yay! He likes the exersaucer! Poopy on that little boy not wanting to sleep. Doesn't he understand that sleeping is fun? I say just stay consistent and he'll fall back into the habit. There was a time when Aria decided for a week that she wanted to get up at 4am. Oh helllllll no. We ignored her crying for those days and soon she got over it and was waking up at 7, her usual time again.
