Todd had a four day weekend. The ups and downs.......
Todd needs to get out of gaming mode. I was in Iowa too long perhaps. He'll just jump on the stupid computer and play his game til I yell at him to get off. Hello! Baby needs fed! Help me w/shit! :P Good thing we had this four day weekend, cuz that shit stopped fast. :) Mean ol' wifey I am.....
We had a lovely discussion, and he began to understand. It seems his mind just couldn't comprehend why I was getting upset. So in the end the weekend ended just fine. That's a lot of "ends" in that sentence.....
Guess what??? Saturday Todd took the baby to a friend's house for 4 hours! I was home alone! What did I do w/my time? I was brain dead. It seems I have forgotten what I liked doing by myself. How sad is that? I'd lost who I was as an individual for the moment, cuz I'm getting used to just being "mom". This is what I did: Ate a sandwich. Played a couple games online. Cleaned the house. Talked on the phone. Watched the Style network. Almost took a nap. Wanted Todd and Gan to come back......:P I got bored. AFTER they got back I was thinking "well, I could've read my book, worked on my scrapbook, and did a scrapblog." DOH!
I think James Earl Jones is the announcer on the Inauguration. Or a sports announcer....
Also during the 4 day Todd and I took baby for a walk twice. We have this doo-hickey thing you strap on yourself and carry the baby infront of you so he can look around. It was funny, cuz Gan would kick his feet during the walk as if to say "GO FASTER!" The second walk we took Lady as well. Our little family walk was refreshing, and quite the "kodak" moment. :P
Todd and I are addicted to Game Show Network. So many gameshows! So little time!

I know! Isn't it crazy that when you actually have time to yourself that you have no clue what to do? I think that is the part of losing your identity as a mom. That and the only reason that people want to see you now is to see the baby too. I believe that will end once the kids get older and therefore less cute.
I remember the first day I had the entire day to myself was mother's day last year. Rod took Aria and you know what I did all day? I slept. I slept and played on the computer and then slept some more. It was so nice.
